There are few places that evoke such a diverse sense of American history as Greensboro. Blandwood, a National Historic Landmark, is one of America’s great historic homes. The beginning of Romanticism in North Carolina and the progressive ideals of Governor John Motley Morehead are illustrated through the architecture, landscape, and decorative arts of Blandwood. Due to the need for fundraising we have had to close our doors until April. Please consider donating to our cause to keep the Blandwood open so we can continue to share it’s special and significant history. With the purchase of any of our items illustrating the Blandwood’s beauty or your support of Preservation Greensboro you are helping us continue to save historic sites and neighborhood in our community. We look forward to reopening the doors of Blandwood and continuing our work within the community.
